An arrangement for trumpet and trombone of this melancholy piece attributed to J. S. Bach sounding in the very expressive key of D minor. A legato playing approach is advised. Much of the music that appears in collections by Bach such as the "Anna Magdalena Notebook"and attributed to him has often been composed by some else.
