A two part beginner piece to introduce piano and keyboard players to the musical elements that feature in ragtime music namely syncopated rhythms and clearly articulated chord based melody shapes. A tempo of 110 quarter notes (crotchet) beats to the minute is suggested. There is a keyboard graphic to support beginner players whilst the letter names of the notes are written in the note heads. Fingering is also clearly specified.
