Invention No. 4 in Dm arr. for trombone and tuba

Whilst conceived as solo keyboard pieces the Inventions work really well when played as ensemble pieces and this arrangement is for trombone and tuba. A flowing and reflective movement which should be played at a tempo which gives the music an uplifting feel rather a plodding one. A tempo of 72 dotted eighth note beats (dotted quaver) to the minute is suggested. These pieces are excellent for developing secure performing technique and an understanding of compositional techique in the baroque era.
